What can you tell us about this image?
This photo was from a high school football game back in October 2016. The 2 high schools are Colts Neck HS and Monroe Township HS, both from NJ. The team in the picture is Colts Neck HS. This player, #13, caught a nearly 20-yard pass and ran about 50 yards for a touchdown. I was positioned in the end zone and was lucky enough to have him run towards me. The sun was behind me and lit everything perfectly, including his teammates. And his teammates getting ready to celebrate, (although blurry, you can see they are excited), I think is the best part of the photo.
What gear or software did you use to create this image?
I used a Canon 1Dx with a 400mm 2.8 lens.
How long have you been a KelbyOne member and what made you decide to become a member?
I’ve been a member for about 4 years now. I became a member as a result of buying Scott’s books. The opportunity to learn about different genres of photography from a wide range of photographers has been a tremendous help.
