Every genre of photography has its own set of rules that help you produce idyllic images, but that doesn’t mean you always have to follow them! Take this photo by @jameypricephoto for example—most race car photos are taken with a fast shutter speed and high ISO for crisp, stop-motion shots. Not this one!

Sometimes it’s okay to break the photo rules , besides, they’re more like guidelines anyway… Just make sure you know the rules first and have a good reason for breaking them!
