When you’re creating blurs in Photoshop, the best way to generate most blurs is through the Blur Gallery, found under the Filter menu. This enables onscreen control and a real-time preview of what’s happening. There are also different ways to add and manipulate blurs right at your fingertips. Each type of blur has a pin, a small dot with a circle around it. If you click-and-drag around the circle you can change the amount of Blur. Because these blur effects are often graduated, it’s common to set some of the points to zero. Here’s a really fast way to set any pin to 0: Hold down the Command (PC: Ctrl) key and click on the pin. That’s it. Real easy. In the case of Path Blurs, just Command-click (PC: Ctrl-click) the end points on the path to set them to 0.
