Member Monday Featuring Marc Hamburger
Welcome back to the first Member Monday of 2020! We hope that everyone had a fantastic new year, and you’re feeling refreshed and ready to CREATE.
Speaking of creating, photographer Marc Silber has some work he’d like to share with you all, check it out below!
About the Photo
This picture was taken at Liberty State Park in Jersey, City, NJ during last year’s Buck Full Moon. I have always wanted to capture a shot like this but due to weather and other factors, it took some time before I got successful. On shooting this night, where I was originally positioned, the moon was rising offset to the statue and I moved about 30 feet to my left and the moon lined up perfectly with the torch and I knew I finally got my shot!
Gear and Software
Sony A7riii with Sony 70-200 f/4 lens and basic post-processing in LR. I bracketed my shots to make sure I would get the detail in the moon along with Lady Liberty being properly exposed.
Photography Preferences
I mostly shoot landscapes and nature but I also enjoy photographing sports, astrophotography, and portraits.
