Meet Alison Etcheverry—she’s a nature photographer based between Buenos Aires and Bariloche.

1.) What can you tell us about this photo
I took it at home in Bariloche, Patagonia Argentina, where I spend almost half of the year.

It was the first snow that winter and it was a beautiful morning so I grabbed my camera with my macro lens on and went for a walk. The meadow was covered with snow, and the wild grass had these funny little hats on.  I had to be quick to press the shutter because I´m always followed by my five dogs, so that they wouldn’t ruin the pic!

2.) What gear/software did you use to create this image?

I took it with a Canon EOS 5D Mark III and a 100mm Canon Macro Lens at 1/100 sec at f/6,3 ISO 100. I used Lightroom to create this image.

3.) What do you like to photograph?

I like to do landscape, macro, outdoor and travel photography.

4.) What made you decide to become a member?

I can´t remember for how long I have been a member, but became one many years ago when it was still NAPP. I went to Photoshop World in Orlando 2008 and Washington 2012, and I am planning to attend in Orlando 2018.
