Portable Power Solution

A few months ago, Tether Tools added to its line of products a portable power solution for photographers and filmmakers to use either in the studio or on the go. The ONsite Pro Bundle comes with an ONsite D-Tap Battery with V-Mount, an ONsite D-Tap to AC Power Supply, an ONsite Aero V-Mount, and a free ONsite AC Power Supply Car Adapter.
The ONsite D-Tap rechargeable LG lithium-ion battery is travel-friendly—it’s TSA-approved and you can take up to two of these on a flight in your carry-on luggage—and it has a built-in 2.1 A USB power output. The ONsite D-Tap to AC Power Supply comes with four USB ports, allowing you to charge devices such as phones and tablets, and two AC outlets that can be used to charge a computer, camera batteries, plug-in LED lights, monitors, etc. There’s a US 110V version, and a universal 220V version.
The included ONsite Aero V-Mount allows you to mount the ONsite D-Tap Battery or any other V-mount battery under a Tether Table Aero laptop mounting system for easy access. This enables you to keep your laptop and other devices charged throughout a photo shoot.
Lastly, the free ONsite AC Power Supply Car Adapter allows you to plug in your ONsite D-Tap Battery to your vehicle’s DC lighter socket and charge it on the go, or simply use it to supply power to your computers while in your car.
