Describe your creative style in 3 words.
Story via photos.
Tell us about a time you struggled or failed with your photography, and how you overcame it.
I once photographed a fire at night with a flash during a snowstorm and the pictures were nothing but a white sheet. I learned quickly that you can’t use a flash and started with my no flash at night photos. I shoot with 2 cameras and at night I use a flash on one but not the other. Still learning to take available light photos. With fire photography, there are no do-overs. You either got a picture you like or not.
What sparked your love of photography?
I liked the challenge of telling a story through photos.
What’s your favorite class on KelbyOne and why?
I like any of the Lightroom classes.
