Gram of the Week featuring Sam Green

We may not be able to pronounce it, but our ‘Gram of the Week’ makes us want to book a flight to Ponta de São Lourenço, Portugal.

First of all, we love how he explains his camera settings, editing techniques, and image processing. We’re all about paying the expertise forward! Sam Green is no stranger to an epic shot in his life as a Germany based travel photographer.

Here is a second composition by Ponta de São Lourenço. Here I have combined a total of 6 pictures. 3x Bracketing with the aperture f20 for the sun star and 3x Bracketing with f3.2 for optimal sharpness. In the post I created 2 HDR images and masked the sun from the f20 image in. I am not sure about this picture because of the colors. I can live with the blur in the area of the sun rays. What do you think of the colors – is that heavy on HDR?
You can see the whole image processing in my story. . . . #Super_Portugal #Madeira #AtlanticOcean #MadeiraIsland #PontaDeSaoLourenco #cantskipportugal #visitportugal #madeiralovers #visitmadeira #MadeiraIsland #portugaltourism #Madeiranowordsneeded
