For Member Challenge #65, “Your Best Shot,” we asked for one thing: the single strongest image you created in 2025. No theme. No safety net. Just your best work. And you delivered. From powerful travel frames to awe-inspiring landscapes and perfectly timed action, the range was impressive. The quality? Even more so. These weren’t casual snaps—they were intentional photographs made by photographers heading into a scene with purpose instead of hope. That’s growth. That’s reps. That’s photographers taking their KelbyOne training and putting it to work.

Winner: Brian Kopper
Brian Kopper’s giraffe image stopped us cold. Captured at Shompole Wilderness Camp in Kenya, the photograph shows a calf in that famously vulnerable, legs-splayed position as it lowers its head to drink—an act that reportedly took hours of cautious buildup in the stillness of night. The symmetry and reflection create a powerful, graphic composition, while the behavior itself adds real emotional weight. Congratulations, Brian, on a truly standout image.

Finalist Spotlight
Choosing finalists was no small task. The images that rose to the top span wildlife, landscape, travel, and environmental storytelling. Below, we’re showcasing several finalists whose work stood out.

A huge thank you to every member who stepped up for “Your Best Shot” 2025.
