Do you think the new Contextual Task Bar is annoying because it pops up in the middle of your image? I thought so too the first time I used it. Here’s the first thing you want to do: Click on the three-dot icon near the far right of the Task Bar, and click Pin Bar Position. You can drag the bar wherever you like and, when Pin Bar Position is on, it won’t move until you move it yourself. This is a real sanity saver.
