I’m now going to share the most useless Photoshop tip ever, but it will put a smile on your face and get you some attention from your colleagues. Here’s a great little Easter egg in Photoshop: Choose Photoshop CC (PC: Edit)>Preferences>Interface and take a look at the Color Theme section. You’ll see four squares of different shades of gray, which are the color options for your Photoshop interface. Now, if you really want to make it cool, you can change these icons to cups of coffee or slices of toast. Hold Shift-Option-Command (PC: Shift-Alt-Ctrl) and click a square. This turns the icons into cups of coffee. Holding the same keys, click again to go back to the gray squares. Click one more time (again holding the same shortcut keys), and the icons turn into toast.

This tip previously appeared in Colin Smith’s Photoshop Tips column, in the February 2019 issue of Photoshop User magazine.
