Ready to meet another KelbyOne Member? Meet Tim Flaherty! He lives in the New Freedom area and has been practicing photography since 1973 and only made the switch from film to digital in 2010.

Here’s the full version of Tim’s image that captured our attention.

What can you tell us about this image?

I took the picture from a plane window on the way home from Disney World. I was in the middle seat and did not know the person in the window seat. I was reaching past him with my camera and taking pictures while he slept. Not long after the picture was taken we ran into rough weather. The rest of the flight was very bumpy.

What gear or software did you use to create this image?

The picture was taken with a Nikon P310 , point-n-shoot camera. The majority of the image editing was done in LR. I used Photoshop to remove lettering from the fin.

How long have you been a KelbyOne member and what made you decide to become a member?

I’ve been a Kelby member since 2011. I originally became a member to get a subscription to Photoshop User magazine when it was in print. I later began using the membership for merchant and Live Training Seminar discounts.
