Describe your creative style in 3 words.

Adventurous, intentional, uplifting

Tell us about a time you struggled or failed with your photography, and how you overcame it?

I hate missing a moment. I’m not skilled enough to capture every fleeting moment in sports or nature photography. So, I study, practice, and persevere to get a little better each time.

What sparked your love of photography?

I am creative but, in a technical way. I enjoy planning a Milky Way shoot or a football game because it is fun and a good creative outlet, but it is also technical and precise. More than anything, I love reminding people how much awe and wonder surrounds us. I want to help them see things they might otherwise overlook in their busy life.

What’s your favorite class on KelbyOne and why?

“25 Quick & Easy Portrait Retouching Techniques for Photographers” helped me edit a recent batch of portraits better and faster – If you have Adobe products, it’s worth taking the time to learn how to use them well. Scott provided great tips, they were quick and easy to implement!
