Master the Dramatic Portrait, with Joel Grimes | August 20th, 1:00pm – 5:00pm
In this workshop with Joel Grimes, you’ll learn his 5 go-to lighting techniques to master the dramatic portrait. Anyone can apply these skills to create stunning, jaw-dropping images! No matter where you are in your skill level, you’ll walk away with an understanding of how to choose the right modifier, how to use high-speed sync, and so much more. Portrait photographers, this one is for you!
The Art of Photographic Storytelling, with Karen Hutton | August 20th, 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Whether you’re focusing on the smallest detail or the most epic landscape, your point of view—your story—is unique and simply waiting to be told. This workshop is part learning and part shooting (so bring your camera). You’ll learn to get out of your comfort zone and photograph the unexpected to help you uncover your creative storyteller within.
